It was HOT!!! Now we had some low expectations (sorry to those that love the Utah fair...) but the Iowa State Fair is AMAZING!!!! and how could Utah really compete?
We walked around for a while trying to decide what food to eat. I really wanted a pork chop on a stick, but Utah isn't famous for pork chops on a stick, so they didn't have any. I settled on a smoked turkey leg instead. It was good, but HUGE! Megan, however, being the curious person she is, decided to get Alligator on a Stick. (ewww..) She said it wasn't bad!

Me!Another thing that the Iowa State fair is famous for is their...BUTTER COW!!!! But not only is there just a cow, but there are other sculptures as well, like Superman, or the landing on the moon. Something cool like that. Well, Utah does have a butter cow. But it's just not the same. : (
We had a fun time overall. Good try Utah. Good try!
